The Mules and this ages old nomadic lifestyle

A comment was made on our last post: “So you want strangers to keep up your lifestyle…that’s what we call bums.”

The Mules and this ages old nomadic lifestyle which our ancestors have practiced for thousands of years is still being practiced today by us the Mules. We get up in the morning off the ground, take a look at our animal companions, bid them a good morning, fix some breakfast, usually oatmeal or rice and vegetables or maybe some ground nuts, very simple and basic, nothing fancy. Then the monk packs up the Mules and we are on our way in any one of four directions, spending the day walking in the light with love, respect and reverence for this Earth and the web of life one step at a time.

When sun begins to set, we look for a place to stop for the night on the public thoroughfare. Often times, somebody will offer the Mules their property to stay for the night. Often times, the Mules gratefully accept. We then fix a simple meal, make the Mules comfortable for the night, then go to sleep knowing full well when we awake in the morning, we will be more to once again practice this unchoreographed dance across the face of the earth in harmony and balance with the energy that surrounds us, guides us, and protects us. This energy of which we speak shows itself through the many kind and generous people the Mules meet everyday as they walk this timeless endless journey of respect and reverence for the Natural World. All of our material needs it will simply materialize into what is needed.

So this is the way it is for the Mules. It does not matter what we are called as we walk along the public thoroughfare for we know who we are and where we are from. We are the body of our ancestors and we come from the harbored energy of their sacred way of life.

Our ancestors have walked under around and through every Megatropolis/ Empire that has ever been and witnessed their ultimate collapse. The Mules as we walk around under and through this Empire are also witnessing its collapse.

As the Megatropolis continues its inevitable collapse and initiates a totalitarian nightmare to contain and control all human energy within it s purview, the Mules will continue this endless journey of our ancestors forever moving into the light of this place in which we reside alone but never alone, a place for everybody and anybody moving, walking in harmony and balance with the energy that created Earth and all its inhabitants.

Bakersfield

When the Mules got into Bakersfield, we went to Tractor Supply looking for Pure Neats foot oil. As we returned to the mules, a lady named Lori was waiting with the mules. She introduced herself and her husband Chuck. She told us that she has been watching the 3 Mules page for many a year. Lori also told us how she contacted CHP and the District Attorney expressing her disgust anger as to the Mules illegal arrest and confinement.

The Mules thanked Lori for the energy of her effort on our behalf as well as the many others of the 3 Mules Nation who did likewise. For if the collective energy of the 3 Mules Nation had not been used, the Mules would right now be using the hacksaw blade we found in our pillow to saw through the bars and take our rightful place on the public thoroughfare showing all who pass our way, there is nothing more precious on this earth than true human freedom.

Lori told us she lived close by and we were welcome to stay the night. It was gettin close to that time so we gratefully accepted her offer. Her kids set up a make shift corral where the mules spent three comfortable nights. Thank you Lori and her nice family for the hospitality they showed the Mules.

As the picture shows it is very easy to accommodate an equestrian traveler as a guest in many suburban communities. These gated housing developments that are springing up everywhere are planned and engineered in such a way as to exclude most outside activity other than getting out of an automobile, walking 40 feet to the front door and going inside, which is the real purpose of an engineered gated community to keep you inside, isolated, dependent and addicted to the internet of things.

In an ever increasing number of cities and towns, city councils are being unduly influenced and pressured to pass ordinances, codes that make any free spontaneous activity in your neighborhood virtually impossible. The 3 mule journey and its nomadic ages old lifestyle pushes back all day every day, one step at a time, against this damning Megatropolis and its goal of disconnection, isolation from the Web of Life, the Natural World.

The importance of being outside in the Natural World

Last Spring, when the Mules were making their way through Palm Springs, a comment was made on one of our posts that the Mules were making bad choices. “Bad choices” is social worker speak for alcoholism, drug addiction, etc.

In none of these activities or addictions do the Mules engage. Instead, we practice the sacred act of walking and the spiritual engagement with creation the Natural World. This is not a bad choice. It is a wonderful choice. A choice created and made available to all from a Trump down to a weak little man and everybody somewhere in between.

The Mules read a Sierra Sun article titled “For body and mind: Neuroscientists ties brain health to outdoors life.” The article was about a neuroscientist’s research that being (living outside) was healthy for the brain. Well, duh!!!! The Mules have known that since the time of birth. That knowledge is imbedded in our bones.

This is why it is so important that the right to travel on and across this country using a multi-use public thoroughfare, open to all its citizens, be protected by all with extreme vigilance.

The Mules

Excerpts from Sierra Sun article:

Outdoor activity is often associated with physical well-being.

Being in the natural world also plays a vital role in mental health, according to Dr. Michael Merzenich, professor emeritus at the University of California, San Francisco and a leading pioneer in brain plasticity research for nearly five decades.

When people are engaged in activities like hiking, Merzenich says, the brain is getting its own exercise, constantly assessing and reassessing the environment for everything from threats to making minute adjustments along an uneven hiking trail.

In the natural world, Merzenich said novel things and surprises trigger this super-charged state, but as people have built cities and more recently, turned their attention to digital devices, they are no longer getting the benefits of being engaged with their environment.

“Our brain is deprived a massive level of exercise by living in an artificial world. We’ve adjusted our local environment so that everything is predictable, we don’t have to think about anything,” said Merzenich.

“Common city life, you only see things in front of your nose and you no longer see things out in the world … you became very, very inadequate at detecting anything that’s surprising or novel. That’s really what we’re designed to do. That’s what our brains are designed to do, we’re designed to be masters of our physical environment, to be looking for the surprises in it that don’t fit, to be evaluating what they mean and what their value is to us. The natural world is just about the best possible way to find all of those surprises.”

With the emergence of mobile devices, Merzenich said the effects are worsening, especially for children.

“There’s no question that the brain of the average little kid right now is vastly different from the brain of a kid even 20 years ago, because the brain basically is plastic, and it changes itself as a function of how it’s engaged,” said Merzenich. “What the child is engaging in is a lot of rule-based behavior, working in activities that are largely rule-based. The kid is doing things that they enjoy and are not valueless, but they’re not the real world, and increasingly we take a sort of artificial approach to life. We don’t problem solve so much as we look up answers to things. We’re changing the way our brains are exercised and that’s changing us.”
By being deprived of the unpredictability and novelty of natural settings, according to Merzenich, people begin to suffer from disorders such as depression and anxiety.

“Human survival was dependent on being an accurate, fast interpreter of the meanings of things,” he said. “Another way of putting that is, that it’s an important form of exercise. If I degrade that machinery, I go into clinical depression. If I enliven that machinery, I have a life that’s vital and bright. There’s real value in exercising the brain.”

In order to employ this mental form of exercise, Merzenich’s advice is simply to get outside and be engaged in one’s surroundings, whether it is at a park, on a hiking path or at the beach.

“I tell people try to be a little bit more like a child again,” he said.

“There’s nothing quite so wonderful as being out on a forest path or being some place where everywhere you look there’s something really interesting — if you’re just open to it.”

The Pink Carry-All

While in Palmdale, California, the Monk was waiting for a bus to Texas. The Monk went behind a building, found a water spigot and was getting clean when he noticed this pink carry-all bag resting in a pile of garbage out in the sagebrush. He approached the bag out of curiosity as he was standing there, looking at the bag, checking its condition, wondering if it could be put to good use for his trip to Texas. The pink bag began to speak. The bag asked the usual questions: “Where are you going and where are you from?”

The monk replied, “We are from wherever. We have our feet in any moment of time. We are going to Texas to look for mules.”

The pink bag then said, “I’ve been stuck in this pile of trash for months. Could I go with you and help with your quest for mules?”

The monk replied, “Can we use yourself to carry our stuff until we find some mules?”

The pink bag responded, “Of course.”

So the mules being alone but never alone have acquired a friend in the guise of a pink carry-all bag to accompany and assist us in our quest to bring the Nation, the 3 Mules Nation, to a condition of full power, full speed.

Note: Another living down to the bone example of the energy harbored in this place in which the Mules reside. A place for anybody and everybody who will travel with his/ her animal companions in one of any four directions with love, respect and reverence for this beautiful creation known as Earth materializing into what the Mules need at any one point of time. This time a pink carry-all bag offering assistance and friendship in our quest for mule companions.

The Monk and the pink carry-all bag have made it to their destination in Texas after 36 hours on the bus. The trip took six hours longer than scheduled as the bus got a flat tire in Grants, New Mexico. Tuesday weather forecast here in Texas: “Strong thunderstorms, damaging winds, large hail, and possibly a tornado with some storms. High 74F.” Pink carry-all bag continuing to offer assistance and friendship in our quest for mule companions. Some photos from our travels in the past 36 hours.

The Mules and Their Mythology

On a warm summer’s day many thousands of years ago, the Mules were crossing a wide open valley where they had stopped to graze and rest a bit. Then all of a sudden the sky became a brilliant blue like the mules had never seen before. All the plants grasses rocks and trees suddenly became multi-dimensional and intense.

The Mules stood in awe at what they were experiencing. Then the Mules realized they were in the presence of God. The Mules looked to the left and then to the right and they saw all their fellow companions Grizzly, Elk, Badger, Skunk, Eagle, Salmon, whom they shared their lives on Earth with coming in and around them.

The Mules and the animal kingdom stood in awe and waited for what was to come then God spoke. God said, “Mules, you’ve been here on Earth long enough I offer you the gates to heaven.”

All the spectating members of the animal kingdom became extremely saddened because they did not want to lose the energy and company of their longtime companions. The Mules then spoke back to God, “No we do not seek the gates to heaven for we love the earth so much we can never conceive not being here.”

The bright blue intense sky lost its unusual luster and the intensity felt by the Mules diminished. God’s presence had left abruptly. Many days had come to pass and the Mules once again were grazing another long beautiful valley contemplating the Majesty of this place where they found themselves forever wanting to be.

Then all of a sudden as before the sky became a brilliant lustrous blue and an embracing force of intensity surrounded the Mules and all the animal kingdom which had come once again to witness this encounter between God and the Mules a long period of a mystifying calm ensued.

Then God spoke, “Mules, I’ve created this place in which you can reside, prosper and enjoy this Natural World and its web of Life which I have created. You the Mules will be required to live with love, respect and reverence all day every day one step at a time for my creation. Show all those who pass through this earthly dimension the extreme importance to themselves and their future to maintain the integrity and well-being of Life on this Earth, a place you the Mules have chosen to stay.” God then said to Mules, “Deal or no deal?”

The Mules replied without hesitation, “Deal.”

So this is how the Mules many thousands of years ago became to be and reside in this place. A place for anybody and everybody who wishes to stay on Earth and give all their energy to God’s creation by the sacred act of walking all day every day one step at a time

The Mules Don’t War

The Mules won’t and don’t war. Why? There is no good reason to do so. The act of war produces nothing we need or want to associate with. It will not better our lives. War worsens our lives.  War, an endless cycle of death, destruction and human misery. First, a victor, then a loser, around and around you go, learning nothing, accomplishing nothing for yourself or the generations to come. A life of service to the Megatropolis providing it with the highest possible degree of human suffering and misery so it can satisfy its never ending insatiable appetite for that misery.

One bright beautiful sunny morning, as can only exist on earth, the Mules many thousands of years ago, were moving into a large canyon as a tribal group known by all who knew us as The Mules. Suddenly, we heard the sharp clinking of metal and the sound of horses coming from behind. The horses of war were in pursuit. We started to run fast and hard with our mules to the end of the canyon up and out onto the ridge. We looked back. They weren’t coming for their horses could not commandeer the rugged climb. We chose for our escape a well known canyon for its difficult ascent. Once down, we would be safe from the pursuing force of war. Almost down, we could see a large cloud of dust at the mouth of the canyon. We turned and looked to the ridge which we had left. The forces of war had come up from another canyon.

We were trapped for the first and last time. The Megatropolis had grown too large now. Its organization and control of humanity was well on its way. We got off our mules, placed our hands on their necks and stood and quietly waited for what was surely to come.

First we watched our children slain one at a time before our eyes. Then we watched our wives, companions meet the same fate. And then we who remained were mocked and insulted as cowards for allowing them to do what they had just done. Then my tribal members were also slain one at a time until only I was left standing quietly waiting for my sure demise, I saw this soul captured by war and destruction start to weep about 100 feet of where I stood.

Suddenly a stillness with the strength of a storm encompassed all that could be seen and experienced. Then another captured soul began to weep. Now all these men of war were on their knees weeping and shaking with fear and regret for what they have done to the Mules and of course to themselves. We stood in silence until we understood it was time for us to leave for the suffering was not ours to bare. The burden was to be bared by the men of war. I got on my mule, turned to the north and once again continued this endless journey alone but never alone of one human being sacredly walking on earth through the web of life in one of any of all four directions with his or her animal companions one step of a time all day every day.

The story of the Mules’ past and their ancestors explains very well why the Mules will never war again. The ancestors learned the consequences of war and pass this story on through the use of thousands of years of harbored energy. Each lifetime we live here on earth, our chosen place of eternal residence, we end that life by dying either from accident, stealth or natural causes, only to re-materialize, live again, wander and roam over this beautiful creation known as earth. The Megatroplis seeking to control all energy on earth has never controlled the Mules and never will. We the Mules give our energy to this place in which we reside and this place protects us as we walk on our endless journey through time and space.

Bakersfield – Thanksgiving Day

The Mules on Thanksgiving Day found ourselves walking through Bakersfield. It turned out to be a very rewarding day. The sky was clear blue with white puffy clouds. The air was crisp and clear due to the previous night’s rain. Clear blue skies and white puffy clouds are a rarity these days. Most of the time, the skies are silvery white or a dirty grey in color much of which is due to the chemical chem trail spraying over our heads.

We also became aware of some lawyers advertising their services. We took their names for we are in the process of drawing up some lawsuits pertaining to our God given right to move and travel freely in this country, how we choose, when we choose, codified in the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of the land.

We will be seeking the advice and expertise of lawyers in the not to distant future. The Mules will consider these gentlemen as possible candidates for the job. There will be no monetary compensation. The reward for these gentlemen lawyers will be spiritual, the value of which will be experienced in a way totally unique to themselves.

The Mules know the value of such an effort will be extreme. These gentlemen lawyers, should they be selected from a large pool of candidates, will have no regrets for their services rendered.

Giving thanks

The Mules give thanks on this Thanksgiving Day. We thank all the people who follow our page contributing their energy and effort to this place of one human being alone, but never alone, walking with his or her animal companion peacefully and responsibly, carrying no weapons, but carrying the energy that has been created and harbored for hundreds of thousands of years by all those who have given and resided in this place understanding and knowing the absolute value of true human freedom as only it can be experienced and practiced on this earth. The Mules are happy on this day. We hope the same for you.

3 Mules response to the gentleman pictured

The Mules would like to see a proper place for every horsewomen/horsemen to tie their horse in every shopping center, parking lot that serves the public and the Public Thoroughfare when coming to town to conduct business in that town. The Mules and all Horsemen and horsewomen are citizens of the United States. Our rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. The right to move freely in this country how you choose, when you choose, is that Happiness.

The relationship between man, woman, and horse is hundreds of thousands of years old, if not millions. It is sacred. The passage of any code, ordinance, law or the building of the Public Thoroughfare in such a way that interferes, curtails or prevents horsemen/women from using said thoroughfare or any venues connected to it is blatantly illegal and unconstitutional. The ages old sacred relationship between mankind and horse harbors the energy accumulated from a history spanning thousands of years. The energy of this relationship works relentlessly to protect and preserve its acquired place on earth. The Mules were born from this energy and our time on earth is to serve it.

The gentleman pictured in the photo above [link to the story here] the Mules believe is saying to the Privateer who owns the parking lot, you have not provided a secure place to tie/park my horse in your parking lot, therefore I am obliged to bring my horse in the store.
