The Mules met a gentleman named Andrew Becker in a way I need to tell for it speaks to the spiritual magic which the 3 Mules Journey has collected and harbored from the many people we've met for the 13 years we've been walking in the state of California. We can’t post the whole story here so read further in our blog

Where the mules slept last night. Got here just before dark. Left this morning about 9:00 a.m. Met this lady and her son shortly after we left our place of rest. She said she saw us way back in 2009. The mules had no social media way back then. But the mules stayed in Fresno for the winter when I was working. Then wed leave Fresno and head for Colorado for the summer so that's when she would have seen us way back then. That's the longest time that we've met anybody that saw us way back then.

Where the Mules slept last night along the Iron Ho

Where the Mules slept last night along the Iron Horse Trail. We got here at about 7:00 p.m.. packed up and left between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. We were awoken around 10:00 p.m. by a Danville Police officer. He said Danville has an ordinance against overnight sleeping anywhere within Danville city limits. He said he wouldn't cite us and would let us spend the night where we were but he couldn't guarantee that another officer might see it all together differently and suggested we get up very early in the morning and move on as quickly as possible. The city council of Danville and its attempt to use this no overnight sleeping ordinance against those who tour trek stay outside by choice whether by bicycle backpacking traveling with a pack animal carrying their belongings. Is a kick in the face to all those who prefer to live outside. The Mules were robbed in Pittsburg while we were sleeping. We were also robbed in Danville last night different methods but the result is the same. Cripple and hinder those who reject the Megatropolis and practice the art of distancing themselves from it. Creating independence from the Megatropolis rather than dependence.

Thank you Lorena Martinez for taking the time to find our website and write to us. We had to translate your Spanish text to English.

"Hoy cuando conducía a casa encontré en el camino, sobre la Treat Blvd, en Concord CA, esta linda imagen que me hizo dudar de lo que vi. Era este señor de apariencia ancestral caminando junto a su mula. Me hizo recordar los campesinos de mi amada Colombia y por supuesto quería saber si no fue un sueño. Que bueno que encontré esta página para saber que fue real. Gracias por crear esta magia!! . Larga vida a ti y a tu mula."

"Today, while driving home along Treat Blvd in Concord, CA, I came across a lovely sight that made me question what | was seeing. It was a man with an old-world look walking alongside his mule. He reminded me of the farmers from my beloved Colombia, and naturally, I wanted to know if it had just been a dream. I'm so glad I found this page and learned that it was real. Thank you for creating this magic! Long life to you and your mule."
